Gallop For Gaza
A run across Ireland for the chidren of Gaza and peaceful cross-community initiatives in Palestine and Israel
What is Gallop for Gaza?
Gallop for Gaza is a personal attempt to run over 5 full marathons, back to back, across 5 days, across the island of Ireland from Dublin Bay to Galway Bay.
My aim is to raise urgent funds for the Palestinian Children Relief Fund and Combatants for Peace to deliver critical aid for the children of Gaza and work to promote a peaceful, joint Israeli & Palestinian resistance to the occupation and siege of Palestine.

PCRF
Gallop for Gaza funds are going to the PCRF’s “Gaza Relief and Recovery” campaign which aims to address urgent humanitarian needs and support long-term recovery efforts in Gaza.
The funds raised will primarily focus on immediate relief, including providing essential medical supplies, food, medical treatment, clean water, and other necessities for families affected by the conflict. Additionally, the campaign will support rebuilding healthcare facilities and providing long-term support through impactful programs and projects to support the needs of children and the health sector in Gaza.

Combatants For Peace
Combatants for Peace is a Palestinian/Israeli cross community initiative made up of former IDF and
former Palestinian combatants who work together to find a non-violent resistance and seek to end the
occupation of Palestine. CFP’s mission is ‘to build the social infrastructure necessary for ending the
conflict and the occupation: communities of Palestinians and Israelis working together through non-
violent means to promote peace. We believe that such communities can serve as a role model for both
people, demonstrating through action that there is a real alternative to the cycle of violence.’
